Shoppers Turn Out for Tax Free Savings

Large crowds of shoppers are expected to turn out for the Texas sales tax free weekend. Statewide, it's estimated shoppers will save nearly $65 million dollars in state and local taxes. Most stores say they will have additional staff on hand to accomodate the large crowds.

"I would say come in as early as possible. Traffic will get craziest from about noon on, so the earlier you can get to the store the better," advises Cindy Bayone from Target.

All of the city's parking meters are free Saturday. The tax free weekend runs through Sunday.
