Parks and Rec Seeks Volunteer Coaches

LAS CRUCES — The City of Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department is looking for volunteer coaches for the various sports leagues offered to youth ages 4 – 16.

Individuals with basic knowledge of sports activities such as football, basketball, soccer and baseball are needed. If you have the passion for mentoring and teaching the fundamentals of a youth sport, then volunteer coaching is for you.

Please call or stop by the Meerscheidt Recreation Center, 1600 East Hadley St. to register. Individuals will be given additional information and resources to ensure them and the kids are successful. An application and background check will be required.
