Discover your leadership talents through our semester-long leadership institute. The Latinitas Teen Leadership Institute is currently accepting applications for female high schoolers interested in developing their leadership potential and communication skills. A select group of high school girls will be chosen to participate in our leadership program to learn how they can become a strong voice for their community. Members will commit to monthly meetings throughout the school semester to learn about civic engagement, develop leadership techniques, explore social justice topics, connect with community leaders, attend field trips and organize volunteer projects. The deadline to apply is January 21st. The leadership institute is organized by Latinitas, a nonprofit dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of Latina youth.
