For the first time ever, the MBDA Business Center of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host the a series of “Extraordinary Minority Award” Recognition Luncheons! It is our pleasure to invite you to honor local, small, and minority-owned businesses for their diversity and success in the El Paso business community.

WHAT: The Extraordinary Minority Award (EMA)- Recognition Luncheon Series
The Recognition Luncheon Series will unite the most talented, committed entrepreneurs in town. The series of EMA luncheons will consist of four events throughout the year, as a tribute to recognizing the four most prominent minority business sectors in our community. Our first event of the series will honor Extraordinary Black Business Owners in our community. The remaining three events will honor outstanding Asian Business Owners (May), Hispanic Business Owners (September), and ending our series, with Native-American Business Owners (November).

WHEN: Monday, March 25, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The MBDA Business Center encourages the community to submit nomination forms (attached) for any of the categories. Nomination Deadline: Friday, March 15 at 5:00 p.m.

Award Categories:
• Woman-Owned Business of the Year
• Family-Owned Business of the Year
• Veteran-Owned Business of the Year
• Young Entrepreneur of the Year (under 40 years old)
• Start-Up Business of the Year (0-2 years in business)
• Growing Business of the Year (extraordinary growth in the last year/s), and
• Manufacturer of the Year
