Description
The 1st Armored Division Band presents "Sun City Holiday Fiesta," concert Dec. 9, at 2:00 p.m., Magoffin Auditorium, UTEP campus.
The 1AD Band's partners in education, the Irvin High School music department, will also perform alongside their military mentors.
The event will include a variety of music from concert band holiday classics to mariachi and rock styles. It will also incorporate audience participation, a visit from Santa Claus and special guest vocalist Mrs. Karen Twitty.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. for ticket holders and 1:30 p.m. for non-ticketed patrons. Tickets will be available Nov. 20 at the Fort Bliss Public Affairs Offices at Bldg. 15, Slater Road, West Fort Bliss and 1AD Headquarters on East Bliss, and the ITR ticket office at Freedom Crossing.
